Amway Taiwan Jump Boys

One by One: Amway Taiwan

Amway Taiwan Jump Boys movie screening

Amway Taiwan provides scholarships to children who suffer from rare diseases that are difficult to diagnose and treat. These scholarships are awarded annually and funded jointly by Crown Ambassador Foo Howe Kean and Amway Taiwan.

Amway Taiwan also supports mentally disabled children from Li-Ta Basic Training and burn rehabilitation patients from Sunshine Social Welfare Foundation. Through their annual Hopemaker project, Amway Taiwan helps these teens learn a marketable skill, by teaching them to create hand sewn gift sets that are sold with all proceeds benefiting the NGOs. The teens are paid a competitive wage for their efforts—for many the first money they’ve ever been able to earn on their own.

Amway Taiwan filmed a documentary of the gold medal-winning boys gymnastic team they sponsor. Jump Boys showcases the ups and downs of preparing for and competing in gymnastic competitions. The documentary was shown in over 100 elementary and high schools to great acclaim, and ultimately won two Golden Horse Awards.
