Our partner

Working with UNICEF to support child survival in developing countries through UNICEF’s Immunization Plus Program. Utilizing the opportunity of immunization to deliver other life-saving services is the “plus” in Immunization Plus. At vaccination sessions, UNICEF may distribute insecticide-treated mosquito nets to help protect families from malaria, or provide Vitamin A supplements, which help children survive when they fall sick.

How we help
  • Through Amway Europe's support of UNICEF's work in Kilifi, immunization of children under the age of one will increase from 40 percent to 70 percent by December 2007
  • Raising funds for UNICEF through sales of holiday cards and online donations
  • Sponsored “The Lens for Children,” a program organized by Polish Public Television, with proceeds benefiting the Oncological Children’s Hospital in Bialystok
  • Participated in raising $250,000 USD worth of medication through the “We Help Polish Hospitals” charity concert, organized by World Foundation, “Health, Heart and Mind”
  • Donated funds to the Polish National Committee of UNICEF
  • In cooperation with the National Society of Aid for School, Amway Poland contributed to children in fine arts and the “Summer Language School” through a countrywide competition.
  • Provided three stipends for young musicians from economically disadvantaged families, who participated in a famous Frederic Chopin’s Pianist Competition
  • Since 1999, Amway Poland has sponsored “Run of Buffalo,” an event set in Bialowiea, in the core of primeval forest in Poland, and targeted toward children
  • In the summer of 2005, Amway Poland provided uniforms to youth water polo teams
  • Since 1997, Amway Poland has sponsored the Academically Swietokrzyskie Society, providing children a vacation from troubled situations at home
  • Provided products and financial support to the Children’s Hospital in Warsaw
  • Amway Poland was the sponsor of a very popular exhibition of fine arts made by children of well-known parents named “World in Children’s Eyes”. Exhibition was organized in Gallery Art New Media in downtown of Warsaw. Pictures of children were sold during the auction and funds were given to The Home of Single Mother and Child.
