Boy receiving UNICEF immunizations

UNICEF Immunization Plus Program, Europe

Boy receiving UNICEF immunizations

Since 2001, Amway Europe and South Africa have supported UNICEF – the United Nations Children’s Fund. Under the banner of the One by One Campaign, European affiliates have increased their support to promote child survival in developing countries through UNICEF’s Immunization Plus Programme.

Today, 30 million infants are not vaccinated, and as a result, every year 3 million children in developing countries die from diseases that are entirely preventable. The vaccines needed to protect these children are readily available and inexpensive. Just 17 Euro pays for one child to be immunized against the 6 diseases that threaten young lives. Through Amway’s Pan-European partnership with UNICEF, more than 90,000 children have been immunized since 2003.

Amway Europe provides donations to UNICEF through two fundraising programs:

  • Sale of exclusive Amway and UNICEF-branded greeting and occasional cards
  • Three skus that allow IBOs the option to donate 1-17 Euro each time they place an order
