One by One: Amway Malaysia

Amway Malaysia focuses on promoting positive mental health among children through Healthy Happy Minds workshops for children and parents. Research reveals that one in five Malaysian children has a tendency for depression, low self-esteem and self-confidence.
Since the program’s inception in December 2003, Amway has conducted 34 workshops/camps and eight parenting seminars impacting more than 700 children and 2000 parents, with a total of 907 volunteer hours.
The Happy Healthy Wards Project - A physical extension of the on-going camps, workshops and seminars, the Happy Healthy Wards project aims to create a more conducive and cheerful environment for recovering children at government hospitals. In June 2006, Amway Malaysia handed over its first Happy Healthy Ward, a refurbished Pediatric Day Care Center with a new children’s playroom to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Klang.
