One by One: Amway Korea

Amway Korea offers children an extra support system during the hours they are most vulnerable—after school and into the evening—through their partnership with the Seoul Association of Social Welfare Centers (SASWC), With Amway Korea’s support, these welfare centers offer more than 600 children a year safe places to study, play and healthy meals to eat. Employees serve as volunteers, and can be found cooking meals, helping students study, or just lending a sympathetic ear.

For children in dire need of assistance, Amway partners with the National Child Protection Agency  to provide safety shelters for abused children. Here, children are provided a safe place to stay, clean clothes, warm meals and counseling.

Amway Korea recognizes that playing is an important part of growing up. That’s why they’ve donated 10 “Amway Charity Playgrounds” to rural schools, and offer weekly Nutrikids sports classes to 200 disadvantaged children nationwide to help children establish healthy bodies and minds. The Nutrikids soccer  teams compete annually for the Nutrikids Little World Cup.
