Our partner

Working with the Seoul Association of Social Welfare Centers (SASWC), Amway Korea operates a protection program for underfed children to enhance families’ independence. This program offers cultural and nutrition education for children and their families. Employees volunteer to tutor, prepare meals, etc. for children.

How we help
  • Donate “Playgrounds of Love” to rural schools
  • Offer weekly Nutrikids sports classes to disadvantaged children nationwide to help children establish healthy bodies and minds. The Nutrikids soccer teams compete for the Nutrikids Little World Cup annually.
  • Offer Amway safety shelters for abused children partnering with the National Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse (NCPCA). At 14 shelters nationwide, abused children are provided medical service, art treatment, counseling for mental care, education and also essential goods of life for them.
  • Sponsor Uri Neighbors’ school for neglected children in vacation, which provides a tutoring service, cultural experiences, and a camp. Amway Korea employees participate in a mentoring service for children at the camp.
  • Provide social workers with the opportunity to learn advanced social welfare systems in other countries to apply it to children in Korea.
  • Hold Charity Bazaars in local IBO plazas on brand festival day, promoting monthly distributor donations to One by One partners and selling recycled product to benefit the cause.
Our results
  • As of 2005, Amway Korea has constructed 10 playgrounds for rural schools and provided live arts performances for local residents.
  • In 2006, Amway Korea’s support provided meals, medical service, education, counseling and field trips to 617 children at 23 welfare centers.
  • In 2006, Amway Korea provided support to 596 abused children in the form of education, counseling and medical services.
  • Through the Nutrikids Soccer Program, 200 children receive weekly lessons from a professional soccer coach and participate in external matches.
