One by One: Amway Italy

Amway Italy participates in the Amway/UNICEF pan-European partnership.

Amway Italy targets projects focused on hospitalized children through "Mission Happiness". Amway improves children's time in hospitals by supporting initiatives and funding special equipment that makes hospitalization less traumatic.

Amway supports clown-therapy and sponsors two 'clown' doctors offering children entertainment and games while at the hospital. They are also the sole sponsor of an open door waiting room project where children can draw and play with the support of psychologists who assist in delicate situations for both hospitalized children and their parents. Amway employees volunteer in the waiting rooms and also read stories to children before bedtime - an activity often described by employees as one of life's most touching experiences.
