One by One: Amway Belgium

Amway affiliates in Europe contribute to the global One by One campaign for children by raising funds and volunteering.
Amway in Europe has partnered with UNICEF, the United Nations' Children Fund, since 2001. During 2006 - 2008 Amway distributors and employees raised funds to support UNICEF's efforts to reduce infant and maternity mortality rates in the district of Kilifi, in Kenya. Due to their involvement more than 90,000 children have been immunized against the diseases that most threaten young lives.
2009 marked the start of a new Amway/UNICEF pan-European program, Brick by Brick, designed to build preschools in the Van region of eastern Turkey, where literacy rates are half those in the rest of the country and only 10% of children attend preschool due to lack of resources.
Amway Europe strives to raise $450,000 per year, the cost of one preschool for 200 children. Additionally, the children receive one hot meal per day at the preschool, which for many is their only chance of getting a meal that day.
